"I have known Briony in her roles at EMAP since she became involved with the shows for which we have contracts with EMAP: BETT and the Education Show; which are the significant events in the EMAP education portfolio. Initially I knew her from her management of the introduction of websites for the events.
Briony has a wide range of flexible skills that she demonstrated over the years as we engaged in new projects and refined those which are years old; BETT was 25 this January (2009).
Strong on strategy development, good at thinking out of the box and ensuring her team does likewise, she is also effective on detail. Briony therefore brings together a wide-ranging skill set which would be valuable for any event management, though I think her flexibility would suit her to a wide range of demanding roles."
